He's the Ultimate Friend! During Trigger Happy Havoc, he would often assist Makoto in Class Trials by providing his own counterarguments during Non-Stop Debates. During Goodbye Despair, he was within the simulation to keep control over the event, but was pushed out when Junko took over, left to float endlessly in a technological abyss with no idea if his friends survived or not. Luckily, he was rescued before he could lose his mind. In V3, he tried to help Kaede kill the mastermind but ended up as an accomplice in the murder instead. He's kept his head down about it ever since, hoping no one finds out about it, even though he acted with only good intentions.
