On Feburary twenty-fourth, 2022, the Gaehive managers put a new set of rules in place. The plan was to clean up the projects section of the studio! Many of the managers thought that the remix chain projects clumped up quickly and made it hard to see any other projects. By banning remix chains, they intended to let other projects shine without being drowned out. “I think it definitely makes the projects tab a lot more organized and related to the studio, and I like it! We get to see content that is new, and not chains and stuff along those lines! :]” Brook, @Moonwatcher127 , says confidently. “It's good because it doesn't clog up the projects section, letting us see projects that people have taken time over, which boosts their well-being because as the views go up they know they have brought a smile to more people's faces rather than a quick-fix remix chain,” - @EnergeticCoder (Logan) points out. It’s true that remix chains are a very fun activity, but many users seem to agree that forsaking them in our studio for the purpose of more entertaining projects has been a good choice. “I think its a good rule because we would have a more organized project section, adding on because remix chains were quite popular we saw many of the same things over and over and less of original content. I feel like now we get to see people's hard work and not just a remix of the exact same thing.” - @Closet-Gremlin told us. “It makes it a lot easier to see different kinds of projects from different people. So generally I like the rules in place,” @biohazard-- notes. “It's pretty good because instead of having remix chain projects that small children probably made in the first place we have actual content to look at and you don't have to worry about adding a project and it immediately getting buried, the managers are doing really good at removing the unneeded projects. I was kinda annoyed at first by how you can only add LGBTQ+ projects because I wanted to add my art here but I don't mind anymore since it makes sense lol,” an anonymous curator adds. All in all it seems that this new rule is one that the curators are happy to oblige with, and we hope it serves us well!
