Longer Pov (bakugou, Mha. Not x reader but imagine it if ya want idc. Ur quirk is dragon) *sniffles* you sit alone on the rooftop with everything going on in the dorms, it's the only place that's peaceful. You don't hear his footsteps over the wind until he taps you on the shoulder. "Yo scaly. Why the heck r u out here, it's friken loud as hell" "Like you care, blasty" You growl, but he catches your voice break anyway. He sighs and sits down awkwardly beside you. He says "You better not cry" but it's not a yell and it makes you look up You meet bakugou's eyes, and underneath the scowl you see a flicker of concern. After a moment of consideration, you sigh too, close your eyes, and tilt your head back. "You know, my quirk is pretty cool. Good eyes, good ears, fire, super strength, wings. It's everything I could hope for. 'Cept the nocturnal part. I don't need much sleep, which seems great, but I've always had a curfew." Bakugou seems confused, but then he remembers why he woke up. You confirm his thought saying, "Almost all of you talk in your sleep sometimes. I used to blare music to shut the sound out. But now that we live here I don't want to wake anyone from their sleep." And you glance back at him, seeing the tiredness in his face like the rest of the class. "And god knows you need it." He scoots over to you, but doesn't say anything, so you keep talking. "And I've got my problems. Won't say much but my "family"is something else. And don't get me started on my old school." "So, yeah. It's windy. You can't hear anything or think too much. That's why it's perfect." He shakes his head. "Nice speech. Listen to this" He throws a USB at you and walks away. Later that night, you're still up. You plug the USB into your computer, only to find 7 small files. You listen to the songs on repeat till dawn, playing the last one twice before it's time for breakfast. After a tough day of training, you get a day pass and say you're flying home for dinner. But really, you climb to the roof, headphones blaring, spread your wings and take to the sky. You scream every word of his playlist into the clouds. And look down on the city, swearing to protect your only friends. And for a moment... Everything really is okay.
Artists and songs listed in project, image is a stock photo from Twenty20.com I stole all the audio from youtube I made this cause a slow, sweet song can calm you down magically, but sometimes man, sometimes? You just need to scream. So scream. (Love y'all out there, -ali_d)
