{109 books IN MY ROOM, I have at LEAST 40 books i dont read and keep in the play room B) } SO a lot of people do like a book end-of-year wrap up for what ive seen with social media but A) I wasnt really online here at that time for *cough* reasons and B) i didn't have as many books as I do now lol SO im just gonna sorta do a Book rec/ Books I own/ Current recommendations thing for fun and to help some of you guys if you want some books to read or want to get into reading!! ALSO for those who ask "HOW DO YOU FIND OUT ABOUT ALL THESE!?!?!" A) I have reader friends, B) booktok/booktube C) Cousin works at two libraries D) Working at a bookstore in summer E) look up books in different genres I like and find em and F) find big/long/multiple entwined series to keep you busy Author Recs!!- - James Dashner (only if you can handle sadness and dark elements) - Rick Riordan (Kinda same warning but not as intense, mostly, some great representation aswell) - Gordon Kormon (SUPER good lessons in his books about overcoming and bullying, shorter reads too) - Pam Munzo Ryan (amazing books, more on the chill side, storied about overcoming in hard times and such, good messages) Book/Series Recs!!- - ANYTHING by Rick Riordan (or maybe Rick Riordan presents, havent read much of those yet tho so dont come for me) - Maze Runner Series (gets dark, sad and gory) - Lore by Alexandra Bracken (dark, veryish gory, LANGUAGE and TW: some dude tried to EH HEM the mc when she was ten but she s1!t his neck) - The secret garden (BEAUTIFUL, my fav classic so far) - Harry Potter (No duh lol but some language and gets dark in later books) - Narnia (cute series, all i gotta say) - The Hunger Games (dark, must read prequel as well >:D) - Wrinkle in time (ONLY READ THE FIRST BOOK, stop after that, the first is good and the rest shouldn't exist, they are AWFUL, one of the only series ive ever given away) - Amulet (graphic novels, shorter, 30 min read, action packed, fantasy, can be sorta dark ig?)
