Back story: So, snowcat imma call her Shard, her last name is Frost, doesn't believe in herself, but My OC, Diona believes her because she's been there so she gives Shard joy and love, but the words of others hurt her so Diona, like cheers her up by like vanishing it and chatting with her. But in the past, Frost remembers how she used to be a normal kitten but then a Frost shard, which is how she got her name, pierced her while she was exploring and ice/frost blinded her, nearly killing her but then her mother came looking for her and brought her to a doctor fast enough and saved her. Diona helps Shard get through all of her past and shows her what is through the clouds is beautiful, but Diona must go because she is just Shard's imagination. When Diona tells Shard that she will see her in the real world, that's because Shard, not only can turn items into cold stone ore swords but can also tell the future where she might meet Diona or not, because... well there are multiple futures you can get depending on where your path goes.
