This is one of my first and oldest projects, and I am so excited to share it with you! DISCLAIMER: There is no real gameplay yet; you can only test out the various weapons, I am still working out the kinks on this game, so please be patient. This is the second latest version you will get before the final release, I do not want to spoil anything too major! Therefore, I will update this only one more time. |CONTROLS| This game is blazingly simple. Move the sword around with your mouse movements. Switch to different weapons with keys 1-8. Attacking: To add a sense of diversity, each sword has at least 6 attacks. There is one for w, a, s, and d keys as well as the spacebar and simply clicking on the sword. Each sword can do various OTHER attacks by pressing multiple keys at once. For example, the Bedrock Sword can do a "Roundhouse Attack" by pressing w and a at the same time. The Netherite and Blaze Swords can do a Fury attack with Space and S at the same time. |Updates| A very long time ago: Started sword merge. Concept: You start with the lowest rank sword, the dirt sword. Mobs made out of different materials attack. When defeated, they drop a stick sometimes and the material they're made out of other times. These materials can be crafted into, say, another dirt sword, which can then be merged to create another weapon. Progression: A very long time ago: Added all sword costumes. (Not all sprites tho.) A very long time ago: Added an attack method, clicking on the sword. A very long time ago: Tried to create a mob sprite (And failed) A very long time ago: Added simple attack animations to be triggered by pressing w, a, s, d, or clicking on the sword. The sword these attacks applied to was the dirt sword. 2 years ago: Completely gave up on project. 2 years ago: Came back, deleted all mob sprites and added a new sword: the Netherite sword. 2 years ago: Copied all animations from the dirt sword to the Netherite sword. 2 years ago: Minecraft Swordfighting Range has begun. For full update log, check out: https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/739269547/ Also, this game is super glitchy, so please report any MAJOR bugs and I will try to fix them, if I cannot can you guys give me some tips? Also, I'd love to hear recommendation for things to improve gameplay! Enjoy!
