He faked that he was hit, and he went to grillby's, like in his dialogue said, to regenerate(he also lost some hp). The human, however, didn't RESET because they've had enough killing so they kept loading and loading their save file to kill Asgore. Somehow, in the 3001st load, Sans gained the DETERMINATION, and also changed the color of his jacket. He doesn't mind, anyway. Now, he could RESET, which he did and he could also use LV and EXP. But, he didn't kill anyone, except for the Minor Monsters. When the human woke up, Sans has already cleared Ruins' minor monsters and warned everyone about the human. Sans encountered the human when they reached their 1st SAVE point, which they managed to hit Sans with a fatal blow. Sans fled, and somehow, he realizes, he isn't dusting. He started to move on to the next region, Snowdin. The human started a Genocide Route, which there wasn't anyone except for Papyrus, who's worth 3000 EXP. The human killed him, in 1 hit. After that, they killed Undyne and MK. Now, at the Final Corridor, Sans is ready to fight. Sans somehow HAD The Locket and an ax with him.
