This engine has one of the wildest histories of any I've ever seen. 1968: Built as SP EMD SD45 No. 8862 1985: Seen as SD45R No. 7496, rebuild c.1983-1985 1999: Found on the Huron Central RR, renumbered 462 2004: Working for Illinois Midland RR, seen in Georgia 2006: Running on the Pacific Northwestern RR 2007: Sold to Buffalo & Pittsburg, rebuilt multiple times 2009: Rebuilt into an SD40-3, headlights moved. Engine last seen working for the Georgia Central RR, but I sadly couldn't find any pictures of it in its new Georgia Central lettering.
