This is my second design for this memory book contest! I made a back cover as well, it follows the guidelines now, ig, but, it's still not that good... probably going to insert images in the side bar representing each of the cabins or something. This was done entirely on Canva. =) Artist's Statement: The tape and torn note of this design is meant to give the overall design a travel feel, as reading books can transport you to another world! The 2 background images are meant to show how writing has transitioned over the years, from pen and paper to us now typing on our computers. Following the same theme, the 2 fonts are also used to show progress through the different time periods. The cursive font used on the words "Scratch Writing Camp March 2022" represent handwriting from the past, and "Memory Book" is typed to show how now we have progressed into the digital age, giving us the ability to create and share memories without ever meeting in person.
