He was with her in the hospital the whole time. On the 6th day, he woke to find her dead. he howled his grief until he was taken away. That night he sneaked in. He cried next to her for the whole night, and in the morning when he woke, a bright light connected her to him. Her soul trotted along the line of light, ending floating slowly alongside Soda, and she always followed him around. When he went to sleep, he would enter a world of black. It had squishy balls that lit up, and the soul would turn back human for only that time, when the moon was high.
