Notable iterations Documentation: V. 1.3 Movement. basic acceleration physics. V. 1.9 Advanced collision detection. basic graphics layout. V. 2.0 enemy animations functioning, and enemies spawn and move around, triggering battle when touched. V. 2.1 basic battle functions. No attacks programmed yet. V. 2.5 Random background generator started. A couple functions with it working. around 32 possibilities. V. 3.1 Background engine up and running, over 1700 backgrounds possible. Basic battle functions of attacking and fleeing functional. V. 4.1 Text engine up and running. Background, object, and character animations basically formatted(will be polished later.) V. 4.6 Many glitches fixed, and out of bounds text running prevented. Collision detection further improved with personalized hitboxes for objects. V. 5.0 A small amount of Sound effects put into use. V. 5.2 Various text and object examination errors and bugs fixed. Not quite ideal yet but greatly improved. V. 5.3 Many text engine glitches relating to battle progression fixed. V 5.6 Enemy health can be seen as a bar, and all of them are fully functional as of yet. Battle effects from attacks have been implemented, and a working battle sequence is very close to fruition. V 5.8 attack sequences are more engaging with new effects, damage dealt an taken shown, and more! V 6.1 SUPER buggy! I made a drastic change in area scaling and in restructuring of assets, so many many errors occured. V. 6.3 Most of these bugs and glitches patched, but still more to do, including fixing battle sequencing timing and bugs. V. 6.7 Battle glitches and pacing improved. Exp and level system infrastructure put in place but not implemented. V 6.9 two more possible enemy encounters added and bug fixed. more to be added as well as story mechanics and more. V. 7.2 Rudimentary experience point system and level-up system put into place. Leveling up possible, and stats increasing possible V.7.4 Experience and level up messages fixed as well as bugs with experience. V. 7.6 Leveling up stats implemented, plus game sequencing about being able to go past the gate before you have the key fixed. You can level up and have your stats changed.
