I'm writing a story with this-- Cosmic Cat Her whiskers tingled in an unpleasant sort of way. She blinked and padded into the light. Her nose twitched, taking in the surrounding. A shadow like creature lunged at her, and she flinched. ^It's not real^ She thought. It disappears, and she let out a weary gasp. She continued to walk, her eyes half silted closed. She felt her back legs lifting, this happening when she felt extreme emotions. She shivered. Her front paw went to her star shaped pendant on the collar around her neck. ^I miss her...^ By /her/ she meant her mother, who had recently passed. Her whiskers trembled and she ducked her head. A sudden surge of determination rushed through her. "All I have to do, is get through this forest, and then, I'm free" She lifted her head and padded on, through the hallucinations and monsters that lurked around her. She could do this.
