Scratch decided to get rid of my original project 'Backrooms', forever, due to it being too 'scary'. I was told to follow the community guidelines when making scratch games, however, the guidelines do not say anything about scariness. Furthermore, they didn't even contact me about the issue so i could do something about it. Unfortunately, I have been forced to copy the once very popular project and remove many scary aspects of the game. Due to this reason, I have also decided to cease further updates to the game. I'm sorry for any inconvenience. :( UPDATE LOG: v1.1 Beta - finally fixed many bugs involving entity teleportation. Added a fade effect when play is clicked. Removed 'modes' due to lack of content and technical difficulties. Achievements section added. Soon, you will be able to earn achievements from doing things in the game. v1.0 Beta - added difficulties, fixed jump-scare lag, changed/removed various sounds. Fixed getting jump-scared by clicking the green flag. v0.9 Beta - added menu prototype that reveals features planned for future updates.
