Here's footage of a cancelled version of Chris' Adventure 2: https://scratch.mit.edu/discuss/youtube/Jnpsd6FwthA (please mute the audio when the level starts its so unbearable to listen to) Play the boss rush for the same game here: https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/172973294/
!!FUN FACTS!! -This game was waaay too ambitious for me at the time lol -Originally I wanted to have a platformer with 5 worlds at least but I literally only finished 1 level before I got burnt out and dropped the whole thing. -The combat would've been very strange, Chris would've had a hammer attack and would've been able to jump off of enemies. But he only would've had one hitpoint before dying, meaning that the game would've probably been unbearable to play the way I was handling it. -I wanted a lot of cameos from my friends at the time, evident from the gameplay video lol -I ended up making the boss rush project only because I really liked the rough concept of the story I had and I wanted to make a project about it. -I'm just realizing that there's basically two twist villains in the boss rush, which is like the worst story decision lol. -This game is also Mr. Unknown's first significant appearance, as well as the Puppetmaster's! -Like the room puzzle in the first game, I was really proud of how I programmed the Wall boss in this game! -The mecha mode seen in the boss rush was inspired by Kirby: Planet Robobot! -Actually this whole game was probably inspired by that game. Zack's giant robot tower in his boss fight was probably inspired by Star Dream's design! -If I wanted to remake this game (or the boss rush), I'd probably get rid of Puppetmaster's involvement and have him show up in other projects, or even an animation.
