Ok, so, ppl who say agriculture is bad need to know that: humans have a digestive system and need food. We aren't plants. We don't have chloroplasts in our cells. Adding on to Bird_Wiz08's idea, people say things like "recycle" and "dont use straws" but do they actually do these things? I dunno. Maybe. I'm not an expert, but it seems to me that the more farming we have, the less processed foods we have. Think about it. All that organic fruits, all that healthy milk, all those free-range chicken eggs, they have to come from somewhere. Where do you think it comes? The woods? And when you really think about it, we should have a lot more farming than food factories. Like Bird_Wiz08 said, lots of farmers are working on conservation. Do food factories care squat about the environment? Candy factories dont even care about other humans' health. Let alone the earth. 'But Niccy....! Farmers put their chickens in little cages where they fatten them up!' No. Not all of them. And do /you/ spend the extra buck on free range chickens when you go to the store? Or better: do /you/ own a pet chicken? Didn't think so. If you do, then pat yourself on the back. Fishing isn't that bad either, as long as you are responsible about it. (Ok so its a bit aggressive but you get the gist.)
