Hiya!! This is for my extremely new rp, Vale if Shadows. This project contains a thorough explanation on circles, with some helpful information on how to rise in circles as well. This is still a wip, so just be aware!! I also created this at 2am on mobile, so please politely point out any/all typographical errors :) (look below) [ Circles ] 1) The 1st circle consists of high-ranking cats such as the leader, deputy, medicine cats, and council members. These cats are the most respected in the Clan and receive the best treatment, after young kits and the sick/injured. 2) The 2nd circle is usually highly respected or senior warriors. Cats in the 2nd circle have most likely somehow proved to be extraordinary at a specific skill (swimming, climbing trees, running, etc.) or are one of the older warriors and have served ChrysalisClan for a long time. They are also deeply respected. However, it is also common for kit’s of 1st circle cats to reach the 2nd circle by the time they become a warrior (reasoning farther down). 3) The 3rd circle is made up of regular warriors who haven’t proved their worth in some way or are just young. The kits of 1st circle cats usually skip the 4th circle, so in some cases there can be kits or apprentices in the 3rd circle. To rise to the 2nd circle from the 3rd circle you must take a test**. 4) The 4th circle is typically cats under the age of 20 moons. The 4th circle is where every cat starts (excluding 1st circle cat’s kits). They must prove their worth and will go up to the 3rd circle once they turn 20. Hiwever, this is only if they pass the test.** If you join the clan as a rogue/loner then you will start in the 4th circle, even if you are above the age of 20. You will need to take the test** to rise to the 3rd circle. **To go up a circle you have to complete and pass an assessment that tests your physical, leadership and teamwork abilities. You cannot take the test more than once in a span of 5 moons, you cannot take it before you turn 20 moons, and you may not be in the 1st circle unless you have a high-ranking character. If you want your cat to go up in circles you should fill out a form (link coming soon) and once accepted, your character will officially go up in circles. There may eventually be an option to do the test irp, but for now, it’s a bit too complicated for that. Both warriors and medicine cats may take this test.
