The Acrocanthosaurus, quite possibly the biggest land predator of the Early Cretaceous. 6 tons of pure muscle, this was the "T-rex of Texas," Acro hunted large sauropods, ankylosaurs, ornithopods, and small ceratopsians. Acrocanthosaurus was nearly as big as a good size Tyrannosaurus Rex, but unlike T-rex, Acro's teeth were not adapted to crushing bone, and would easily break. However Acro was "The King Of Bleed" its teeth were designed to slice through flesh easily. Sadly, Acro faded into extinction around 113 million years ago, because its usual prey went extinct and it was outcompeted by smaller, lighter, and brainier dinosaurs....The ancestors of Tyrannosaurus Rex. *SPINE CHILLING ROAR*
