Hawkweed handed the cracked egg to the other leafwing. the other leafwing examined the egg and said "I dunno if you're correct but you're probably right." Crraack the eggshell cracked more. "Hawkweed I think you're right look the egg just cracked more." said the other leafwing. "No-no-no You can't hatch during the war it's too dangerous!" Hawkweed said to the cracked egg. Craaaaacccckk the egg cracked even more and a tiny snout was peaking out of the shell. "Too late!" said the other leafwing. "Looks like it didn't listen." said the other leafwing. "Well now that it's almost fully hatched what will we name it?" asked the other leafwing. "I dunno yet let's wait til it's fully hatched." Hawkweed said. A minute later.. CRAAAACCCKKK now the egg was fully hatched. "Oh look Hawkweed!" The egg has fully hatched!" the other leafwing said happily. Hawkweed happily ran towards the young hatchling and asked "Well?" "What will we name him?" "I was thinking sprout." the female leafwing said. "How about Vine?" Hawkweed suggested. "I think that'll work.." the female leafwing said hesitantly. "Welcome to the world young Vine." the female leafwing said to the dragonet softly. "rrk?" the dragonet cooed. "He will be trained in battle in case we are attacked by the HIVEWINGS." the female leafwing whispered. "I agree with that." Hawkweed said. "Although he'll be fine when he is our age because we should have made peace with the other tribes of Pantala by then." he said. End of prologue
