Watch the tesseract rotate in its weird 4D ways. Press V to change how it spins (show variables) Press space to hide the variables Press zero to set all variables to zero -MY BRAIN HURTS-
Here are some multi dimentional facts: A 1d world(line) can be streched in the y direction to make a 2d world. A 2d world(plane) can be stretched into the z direction to make a 3d world. And a 3d world(space) can be stretched in a hypothetical w direction to make a 4d world. A 4th physical direction w is physically impossible to locate because we live in a 3d world so only simulations of 4d objects can be seen as a shadow of what it would actually be like. How am I seeing a 4d object? Just like a 3d object on a screen is an illusion of something truly 3d, this is a 4d tesseract smashed down into 2 dimentions to be shown on the screen. A point is 0 dimentional A line segment is 1 dimentional (x) A square or triangle is 2 dimentional (x,y) A cube or tetrahedron is 3 dimentional (x,y,z) This 2d projection of a tesseract(hypercube, 4-cube) is 4 dimentional (x,y,z,w) 0d objects can't rotate 1d objects can't rotate 2d objects rotate around 1 point (point is 0 dimentions) 3d objects rotate around 3 axes (axis is 1 dimention) 4d objects rotate around 6 planes (plane is 2 dimentions)
