(Read full Notes and Credits please.) CONTROLS (before I explain this project): Running, jumping, rolling, and Spin Dashing are unchanged, mapped to the usual keys you're (hopefully) accustomed to. Z midair to Insta-Shield. X to bounce when pressed midair, and to slide while on the ground. Rapid tap left or right midair to do an air dash. So, a while ago, I made a Sonic Advance "Accurate Engine" (or so it seemed,) although, since it was looking to be uploaded on April Fools, I decided to do a little trolling and make it a Sonic Forces (Classic) engine. That was pretty rude of me, so here's this to make up for it. Basically, what this remix does, hence the name, is make the game *feel* like Sonic Advance 2 in terms of controls. (Not necessarily look like it. Sorry to everyone who wanted a cosmetic update as well.) It gives Sonic all the standard moves from that game, as well as the "Boost Mode" state he can reach in the game. Nothing like this has ever really been made before on Scratch, so I thought I might as well do it to appease all the based fellas who crave that SA2 goodness. Enjoy, I guess! CREDITS: Of course, the base engine was made by @hahasamian. (From a base from @tomicool.) Song is from Sonic Advance 2. Sounds are from the Classic games, Sonic Adventure 1 & 2, and Sonic Generations. After-Image script (base) is from @IndyMine. (Although it was edited a bit.) Insta-Shield script (base) is from @Luigi_Bro. Everything else is original by me. VERSION HISTORY v1.0 (4/1/22): Launch v1.5 (4/3/22): Major edits to physics in general. The air-dash was buffed, Spin Dash nerfed, slide nerfed (comes to a complete stop instead of stopping mid-slide,) and Boost Mode being completely reworked. These changes were made to make the engine way more accurate. (I was going off of memory for the physics in v1.0, this time I actually tried to tweak the physics according to how they were in the game.) v1.51 (4/4/22): Extremely minor edits to Boost Mode physics and bug fixes, with major fixes being retaining the boost if bouncing while in the state, and special moves resetting the moment you hit the ground instead of slightly afterward. (Which wasn't intentional.) v1.52 nothing changed just part of gsefest now
