Backstory: When baby Eleanor was born, she sprouted from a magical clam. She was given the spiritual name of Seafoam, to describe her bubbly personality and beautiful, flowing hair. Only her family can call her by her spiritual name, so Seafoam mostly goes by Ellie. Every mermaid in her family were blessed with a spirit animal. Ellie's is a dolphin whom she calls Bubbles. Ellie loves to visit the human world! When she rises above the water, her tail transforms into legs, allowing her to walk around and explore. Bubbles stays below the surface, and when Ellie is ready to come home she calls her dolphin with a unique call. When Ellie isn't on land, she searches for new species of sea creatures. She cuts the hooks of fishing lines and disposes of them. She also creates scary sounds to ward off divers when they attempt to kill clams for their pearls. Ellie knows that each pearl may become a baby mermaid one day. Eleanor wears the small pearls that she was born with. Every mermaid has unique pearls- gifted to them by their birth-clams.
