And considering this entire thing is about the conflict between Kris and the SOUL, it happens a lot. Susie Ralsei I love you both I wish I could've drawn you more here :( AAA THE CODING HERE this was significantly more complicated than any of my previous animatics help Okay I wanna ramble about my theories and things I've noticed so even more spoiler warning for scrolling down So I don't really believe Kris is the Knight. Or at least, if Kris is the Knight, a lot of things have been misrepresented. For example the whole "overthrowing a bunch of Card Castle" thing, it doesn't seem like Kris to do that and plus even if they did, it's weird that the Spade King doesn't recognize them. Plus there's the fact that Kris seemed intimidated by the Dark World in Chapter 1, cause they were the one who backed away from the Dark World entrance, not us. Honestly to me it seems most likely that, when Kris made a new fountain in chapter 2, they were mostly just wanting a new adventure (especially with Susie's encouragement) and in their misguided soulless way made a new fountain to do that. Speaking of soul stuff, I've noticed a lot of things that Kris has done on their own that seems very different from the way Kris acts without the soul entirely. Closing their eyes when looking in Asriel's room, blocking the Spade King's attack from hitting Susie, following people or backing away from things that scare them. Those things are Kris too, just Kris... with a soul. Then Kris without the soul acts very shaky and twitchy and does a lot of creepier things, which... seems to be what happens when you don't have a soul. You know how messed up Flowey and Chara got without souls. So even Kris's soul is being possessed, it still seems to be affecting them like any other soul, letting them feel and care, which is probably why they keep putting the soul back. They can't move and think freely either way. Sorry Kris :( Also about Susie and Ralsei, I love them both but man I'm not sure what Ralsei's doing. I don't think Ralsei's, like, actually evil, but he definitely seems to know about the player. He seems to care about the path of the game. Which... isn't great, cause idolizing the player and the game is probably hurting Kris. Also he keeps chasing the player into following whatever Susie's doing so they can talk to Kris, which is... concerning. Kris doesn't seem to like whatever he's talking about though (or honestly Ralsei himself much) so he might be talking to Kris about the player. Honestly I kinda theorize that he's trying to tell Kris to let the player play the game cause in a week we'll be done. "And that's why..." Okay there's my theory ramble idk if it was understandable but here ye go. Also hope you enjoy the animation cause I spent quite a while on it XD susie's great change my mind
