~ BACKSTORY ~ Malikat had never been seen as superior to anyone, let alone her brother, the man who was to rule Egypt after her father's death. Oh, how Egypt dreaded the day when the new King would arise. Everyone knew of his murderous intents, his schemes, his ruthlessness... Yet as the King lay dying, he declared that the throne, the throne of the thousand suns, be given to Malikat, his only daughter, in place of his terrible son. Ecstatic beyond belief, she eagerly seizes her new title, and vows to keep her empire strong -- even with all but one of the gods against her.
