Hello! WoF book 15 is coming out tomorrow, and since there's a possibility of a fourth arc and a third continent, I wanted to get this all written down in case Tui happens to make anything similar. I don't want to spoil anything, but I'll give away some very general stuff about the series: EDIT (01/26/2023): Yes, this animated series should still be happening. I'm finishing up the final character designs and I'm about to start writing the script. Hopefully, casting will begin by the end of this year :D ------------------------------------------------------------------------- The Legend of Pendor ------------------------------------------------------------------------- Info about Pendor and its legend: - The Legend of Pendor is a famous legend told to the dragonets of Pyrrhia and Pantala, and Pendor is supposedly non-existent - Is the third and final continent of the dragon planet - Scavenger free - Surrounded by a thick fog that is difficult to navigate through - Nearly all the tribes, other than the TitanWings and most SunWings, believe in Panjia, the world of the afterlife - Inhabited by: SpiderWings: Have 2 pairs of wings, usually dark shades of grey, purple, green or black, have forked tongues, some dragons have the ability to spin webs. Live in the northern rainforest. Queen: Arachnid Relevant side character: Tarantula BreezeWings (may be cut): Semi-transparent wings, very small and light, use wind to travel. Live on the western moors and prairies of Pendor Queen: Moor Relevant side characters: None EDIT: Unfortunately, the BreezeWings are being cut since they don't really add anything to the story. Their territory will most likely go to the ThunderWings. StormWings (after the battle of Orkaan, the tribe has been divided into two separate clans): Both: have scales resembling the colour of storm clouds, piercing yellow or blue eyes, channel their power from storms ThunderWings: Use their giant wings to create great gusts of wind and deafening sounds, live in the low mountains on the border of the BreezeWing tribe (if I decide to remove the BreezeWings, their territory will become the ThunderWings') Emperor (they have stopped having queens since the battle of Orkaan): Hurricane Relevant side characters: None LightningWings: Channel lightning and are able to store it in their wings for many days. Can later be released by clapping their wings or breathed out like fire. Live in the snowy mountain peaks of the east. Leader: None, it's every dragon for themselves Relevant side characters: Storm, Mercy RiverWings (sometimes referred to as WillowWings): May be distant relatives of the SeaWings, gills can only function in fresh water, create floating huts made of willow branches, are very advanced in dragon medicine, have pastel mint/green scales, sometimes turquoise, can't fly long distances. Live along the big river (it's original name was in a long forgotten language) and the Lake of Tears. Queen: Willow Relevant side characters: None BirdWings (extinct due to TitanWings destroying their habitat): Each one is named after the bird it looks like, wings are covered in feathers, only have 2 back legs. Lived in the forests in the centre of Pendor (were cut down for wood and mined for sand by the TitanWings). Last queen: Bluejay SunWings: Collect energy from the sun, worship the sun, build sun temples, store the energy they collect in the temples to light up their cities at night, have sun patterns along their neck, always seem to be glowing a bit, scales are bright golden or yellow colours. Live in the sandy islands in the centre of Pendor. Queen: Ray Relevant side characters: Secret, Promise TitanWings: Wear dragon skulls over their heads, diamond hard blood-red scales, breathe white fire, can only be slain in battle. Live on and in Mount Dire (the volcano).
