Backstory: Soapy sits on the shore, watching the tide. The waves splash over, in a playful mood. Soapy starts to see a bigger wave forming. Collecting more height as it comes closer and closer to the shore. She doesn’t have any time to escape, as the wave washes her over and pulls her into the ocean. She’s unconscious, and believes she’s dead. Suddenly, her eyes open, and she realizes she’s breathing. Underwater? How could this be? From this day forward, she’s a new person. But she’ll never see the land again. Time taken: 6 hours? (Lots of failed attempts…) I wanted to give the art a washed, mysterious feeling.
