Story to explain the vent: I had gone over to my cousins house and when I got there I told them to call me Kai (my boy name) and explained to them about how I'm genderfluid. We went inside and once I got inside my mom looked at me and said "You're not a boy. Stop saying you are. You're a girl." Which completely ruined my mood. I even told her I was a boy that day, so, as you can imagine, this made me utterly upset. Plus, when I tell her to call me Kai on boy days she never respects my wish and calls me my girl name. It makes me extremely uncomfortable and upset, as you can probably imagine. I don't tell her to call me Kai anymore because she won't care. It's so goddamn annoying, even the only teacher I told to call me Kai respects my wish for the name Kai instead of my girl name.
