He'd always been charming and seemingly built to be the heir to Seccoris' throne. There was only one problem. He was born with the dormant version of his family's coveted crystalline power. For eighteen years, he managed to hide it. Controlled outbursts of his powers were not a soul could see or hear, a perfect façade that he just chose not to use him crystalline power in public. Until his eighteenth birthday. Against his complaints, a massive celebration was held for the prince's coming of age. A celebration that proved all to much. Overwhelmed by the atmosphere and the multitude of kekobi demanding his attention simultaneously, Gabbro cracked. Screams and shouts of horror filled the grand room as those dark crystal horns framed the heir's face and Gabbro realized what he'd done. Retribution from his mother was swift, and unyielding. He tried to explain, begged to be spared, but he knew he wouldn't be. His mother held to much pride in herself to spare him. That was eleven years ago, and his jaw still aches from the fracture that never healed right after that night. With nowhere else to go, he fled into the untamed reaches of Seccoris, doing what he could to hone his street skills as he went. Turns out, having a dark power came in handy at discouraging assailants. Over time, he grew better and better at thievery, and over the years has gathered quite the crew who follow him with unquestioning loyalty. Thus, The Treachery was born. Their name is a well known one across Seccoris, but none have discovered yet that it is their exiled prince who leads them, not even the gang's own members. Gabbro knows one day, the secret will get out and he'll be on the run again, but for now he's more than willing to enjoy the spoils of every successful heist.
