Hoooo-kay. I have gone and drawn slides. With each picture there is going to be a little bit of a rant :) Problem No. 1: Getting frustrated within either the first minute of starting or 5 minutes of starting. "Now. This is incredibly annoying, and I have to admit I am guilty of doing this. You see Artists tend to have a vision in their head. They want their art to be awesome. They want their art to be the best. Here's the thing it's never going to the best or awesome within the first 5 minutes. Artists know this but they sub consciously just get really mad with themselves and the piece of art work. We tend to either carry on or chuck it away. " Problem No. 2: Not being able to match up the eyes. "Just in general it's quite hard to match things up to the same scale. This falls into the proportion category. Proportions are really boring but really important. But as you can tell in my art I don't use proportions and well what do I present you with. Wonky art lol- Anyway you'll see every artist virtually struggle with doing the same eyes. Those who can do it with ease and are naturals I consider as gods. But yes. One eye can be perfect and amazing, normally the right eye, then the left is just drawn as a flipping weird squiggle some times-. Problem No. 3: Overthinking This mainly happens with beginner artists. They compare themselves. They go and look at a piece of art and just be like 'Why can't I do that? I thought my art was good. There's is way better' etc. etc. Or this is also known as comparing. Another form of Overthinking in an artist is thinking 'OMG THIS GOING TO BE SO BAD! I JUST RUINED THE ARTWORK!' and it turns out to not be bad as they thought. It can even be the other way around. Thus can cause the artist to A) Completely give up B) Realize it's not that bad and carry on C) Restart all over again. Problem No. 4: A.R.T.B.L.O.C.K I'll keep it simple. Ask an artist. They'll all supposably say the same thing. It's something that should be feared. It's quite annoying and just gets in the way of any creativity. It's virtually also they same with Motivation. It comes and goes, just like waves. And covid. Problem No. 5: Procrastination. 'POV: You're working on an art project. It's due on Friday next week. You get started with it but then you do a thing called 'Procrastinate' and not end up doing it. When you finally get around to finishing/doing it you, most of the time this happens, realize it's due in when you get to school. You have at least one night to finish it. This causes stress and panic :) Problem No. 6: Eyes Eyes in general. So annoying. You have to get the right scale and colors. they need to be exact otherwise they are just like a ladder thats fallen down whilst you are on top of a roof and that was your way down. Annoying and you've basically screwed your whole person/object/animal you've been trying to draw. Problem No. 7: Hands. How to impress a beginner artist. BY DRAWING HANDS. They are so harddddd.. TnT You have to get the fingers right other wise it looks like you've drawn either an oven-mitt or a circle/oval with sticks coming out. Really weird and just looks hidious. [I can't really talk much bc I cannot draw hands TvT] Last but not least: Problem No.8: People Asking For Artists To Draw Them. I've had people ask me. I was so annoyed. They may not show it but some aren't fully confident in drawing people. Their art style might be animals but hey the person asking wants them to draw them as a human. A /HUGE/ leap out of their comfort zone. They also might be a background artist. Or in most cases they don't want to offend the person if they draw them and it turns out the person gets offended how the artist drew them. It's just practically asking 'Oh hey can you jump off a bridge and into a volcano and walk across lava, so you can say hi to a chihuahua and then climb Mt. Everest and skydive into the Pacific Sea and then go mars and back, in under 15 seconds?'. But that's only if they aren't confident. So if you see an artist just first ask 'Hey what's your specialty in art? Can I see some?'. If they say no to seeing some don't push them. If they do see if they have any pictures of people or characters and ask if they would be able to draw you! I am sorry if this seems blunt lol-. I am not going to say the art in this project is top quality lol-. I have covid and I don't have energy to make everything look good lol- This is all in my opinion btw! Anyway that about sums it up for me. Cya soon :D
