A bright white she-cat kitten sat crouched in the corner of the nursery. "What are you waiting for Iceykit?" A calico she-cat asked her. "I'm not waiting for anything mother," Iceykit answered. "Well, why are you just sitting, go play with some of the other kits!" The she-cat said to Iceykit. "I'm good. I don't really fit in with them, and...well..." Iceykit said, not really knowing how to put in words that they made fun of how she was probably a rouge. Her mother was found dying at the border with the rouge place and no one in sight. The elder Hazlebush told her that her mother wasn't really close to any tom in the clan, and she often was out of camp. "Berryheart! Peachstar wants to see you!" a fluffy white tom meowed peaking his head into the nursery. "Coming," Berryheart replied "Iceykit, I want you to talk to Graykit today, reach out and try to make a friend," Berryheart called back to Iceypaw as she backed out of the nursery. Iceykit sighed. Graykit wasn't the worst of it, but he occasionally teased her and called her a kittypet, but he usually did it around his friends and seemed to regret every time he said it.
