And oh boy this series is different! -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Plot This is the medieval world, but different. Instead of witches and wizards being burnt at the stake they dominate the earth. Every year once every 12 year old child turns 13 they receive their amulate. If it glows red they are a witch and if green they are human. Humans are worthless in this world if they cannot harness magic. So they are slaves who carry out their master or mistresses every command. Crosshill Academy is well... dead. I was so excited to get going but to be honest the story was not of great quality and a bit too cliché. Though this might sound cliché too its really not as you'll find out later in the plot (but I don't wanna give out any spoilers). Also, this series really contradicts Crosshill in what witches and wizards are.
