recap : Jingle bells they found snails, Hye has died, Yogurt has dreams that make her scream, and Uni has seize them! As they walked into Greenwood city Yogurt felt the gazes of all the cats around her, so she kept pulling down her hat. She wasn't sure what was happening but she didn't think it would be good. Snail looked just as nervous, but she would occasionally try to smile at the confused crowd, but that didn't help ease the crowd. They arrived at an emerald pathway leading to a fancy castle. "Come on" said Uni, shoving them along. When they entered they were greeted by many more guards and three enormous thrones. "Your majesty" yelled Uni as he bowed. Instinctively Yogurt bent down and signaled Snail to do so too. Three cats flew down. Their wings were beautiful, and they looked very graceful as they floated down. One was obviously bigger, that must be the queen. There was another with pink wings and a dark pelt. The final cat had a glorious brown pelt, it seemed to shimer in the light coming from the windows, she had a cloud-tail and multiple frogs sitting on her head and back. As they landed the Queen said "Who are they" she was talking about her and Snail. "Intruders, I found them around our borders, what should I do with them?" said Uni. The queen thought for a moment then said "put them in a dungeon till I can properly question them". "No wait we need to keep going, the place we are going to is far and we need to keep our pace up" said Yogurt, practically begging. "Silence! Uni take them away". Snail was tossing rocks at the wall, "50...51...51". "UGH I can't believe they locked us in here! We need to keep going" bellowed Yogurt. "Where are we going 60 anyway, you never told 61 me" replied Snail in a less desperate tone. "Uhh to meet my uncle" said Yogurt "oh ok, why?" "because I have no other family and I really want to meet him". Snail looked hurt, "what about Hye and Me?" Yogurt looked away she didn't have anything to say. Suddenly the door creaked open. One of the princesses had opened it and was swinging the key around her paw. "Take me with you and I won't tell anyone you left" she said "I'm Towai by the way...come on let's go". They cats hurried out and ran through a back door. After they had gotten far away from Greenwood city they decided to set camp. "So why did you want to leave?" Yogurt asked Towai. "Well it was kinda boring in my city, there is a whole wide world out there and I'm stuck in a small city" she said. Yogurt looked over at Snail who was watching Towai, she looked red, but it could've just been the fire. There she was floating in mid air. She saw herself jumping onto the rocks, the big wave, Hye, saving her, and then drowning. She woke up with tears in her face, luckley her companions hadn't noticed and they were asleep. She decided that waking them up would be better than trying to sleep. "Towai, Snail wake up" yapped Yogurt. The next few days were a continuous wake from a spooky dream, doing some walking, sleeping and repeating. Soon they arrived at a large bridge that led to a house. The home looked unstable and the ground it was on looked like it was about to break. "This is it," Yogurt said, turning around. Towai and Snail were chatting behind her not paying attention to anything, but their conversation. "HELLO" yelled Yogurt feeling a bit jealous and left out. "Oh sorry, Towai was just telling me the funniest joke!" said Snail blushing. "You wanna hear it?" asked Towai, looking at her, as both of the cats stared at her she simply turned around. "No thanks, by the way I didn't think you noticed but we have just arrived" she said. "Were going across that" Snail said looking surprised "what if we fall." Yogurt hadn't thought they would but the uncertainty in Snail's eyes made her realize how dangerous it would be. "Don't worry if we fall we would splash into the water underneath, we can then swim to shore" said Towai. Snail and Yogurt looked at each other remembering what had happened to Hye, but Snail cut in "I trust you, Towai."
They walked slowly on the wobbling bridge. Snail slipped and one of the beams broke off. Towai quickly pulled her up. Two cats jumped out of the bushes on the house side and started scratching at the rope. "HURRY" screamed Yogurt running towards the house. Suddenly the bridge began to fall and she skirted to a halt. Quickly she turned and ran to the other side, but it was too late. She fell grabbing onto one of the planks. She looked down, Towai and Snail were clawing at the planks too. "Little help here, Towai" said Yogurt "you have wings". "Oh ya" said Towai, flapping her wings, Yogurt rolled her eyes. Towai swooped up but passed her and picked Snail up first and placed her gently on the grass above. Yogurt couldn't believe what had just happened, she was the one to tell Towai to fly, she was also closer to Towai begging with, there were many reasons why Towai should have gotten her up first. She realized she hat unsheathed her claws and was falling. Closing her eyes waiting for impact, she felt paws sweep under her. Towai had gotten her in time! She opened her eyes to see Towai hugging Snail up on the grass. Looking at the paws they were indeed not Towai but a yellow cat with fins, and an earing. "Oh who are you" said Yogurt her words were sharp, but she wasn't mad at her savior, but instead Towai, who was gleefully hugging Snail still and probably haven't realized she had fallen. "Oh sorry I thought you were falling on accident, I mean not on purpose, ugh basically I thought you needed some help. I am Apricot by the way!" Yogurt smiled "I'm Yogurt could you get me up there?" she asked pointing to the house, she was sure Towai could just fly Snail there herself. "Sure" said Apricot smiling from ear to ear. The water around them started caving up like a tunnel, a wind current formed beneath them and Apricot used her fins as a gliding devise and the flew up the water tunnel. "I'm sure Towai's flying isn't as cool as this" she mumbled under her breath. When her paws landed on the grass she looked across and realized Towai was indeed flying over with Snail in her paws. "How'd you get over here" asked Towai confused. "Haha just fell and almost died" Yogurt said turning away to knock on the door. "Hello is anyone home?" she asked knocking again. The chameleon cat opened the door "oh hello there do I know you?" he asked shifting his glasses. "I am Yogurt and this are my friend Apricot, and the two cats over there and totally distracted and simping for each other" she said. "Oh uh ok...I am Bart" he said confused "wait Yogurt! Its been so long ahh your mother and I used to be bestest friends, is Hye here to I sent him to find you and take you to me" Yogurt looked over at Snail for her to explain but she was just yapping with Towai. "H-h-he died in the river ways back" she said. "Oh" Bart said "Well come in would you like some tea?" They were sitting Apricot next to Yogurt as she talked with Bart. She kept shooting glances to Towai and Snail. She felt like they were ignoring her, or at least more occupied with each other. “Oh yeah I almost forgot, two cats on this side of the bridge cut the bridge, do you know them?” asked Yogurt. Bart turned white, he mumbled under his breath “could it be, are they really here, how did they locate me?” He looked out the window and seemed to relax. Are you sure you saw them. “Yeah one had a book on its neck and the other one was gray with a scarf, how else would I have fallen and found Apricot?” “wait a book collar! And scarf! We need to leave, I will round up my stuff, you get your friends prepared” he left the room and went up a thin fleet of stairs. “We are leaving, Bart is packing his stuff” said Yogurt “oki” said Apricot, as Snail and Towai looked up from their conversation “wait what why” asked Snail “We just got here” they said in unison.
