Alright, so I'm pretty sure these descriptions shouldn't be disturbing at all. I'm just talking about the bones and what it does. I also put in a VERY mild explanation of how your bones form when you are born so I do talk about you being born. It is so mild I like- the most i say is born. But if that makes you uncomfy you don't have to read lol. Just a smol warning!! ___________ Those are basically all of the main bones in your face. The cranium is your whole head besides the face (i think it might include the face but im 80% sure it doesn't) That line where the ear should go is right above your ear. Its a dip called the temporal bone. You can feel it if you feel behind your ear. That dip is pretty cool. you can feel the bottom of your jaw too. Cool fact about eye sockets. There's two lines inside behind your eyes, that control the blood to pump in your eyes and the nerves in your eyes. They're shaped like a < and the top line is the blood and the bottom is the nerves. Mandible bone is your jaw. If you deal with popping and sometimes your jaw comes out of place (not too much out of place, just enough to open your jaw wider then it should) You've probably got locked jaw. It sucks. I would know. I have locked jaw and sometimes when I yawn my mouth physically wont let me open my mouth any further and it hurts so b a d. And that's why you shouldn't clench.✌️ Locked jaw is caused by the mandible bone falling out of its socket and it pops back and forth. Very painful. Maxillary bone is the bone where your upper teeth and part of your nose is. There's nothing much I know about that lol. When a baby is born, the head has different areas that aren't connected. Hence, the squiggles on my poorly drawn skull. They're separated so the baby can be born a lot easier and just- slip out, lmao. later, the baby's bones should form together. If you were to look at a baby, sometimes you can see two bumps in the middle of their forehead. Those are the bones forming together. Sometimes a baby's bones wont form and so they're left with those bumps there. That's called Craniosynostosis. It has the word "Cranio" in it, hence the head is called the "Cranium". The Frontal bone is one of those bones that form together. ____ Anyways thanks for listen to me ranting about this. Im in T.A rn and I have nothing to do so- If I missed anything please tell me lol. Im pretty sure I've gotten most of it right. And if I didnt, my sister would know. Shes taking a super hard Anatomy class in Collage right now just for fun. I dont understand her ways. Someone told her no one ever got an A in that class and she just said "bet." and took the class and she's working so hard on it I'm pretty sure shes got an A. Not excited for Collage.
