Congrats of 300+ <3 Let's cut to the chase! || Bio || -Dusk <-- because I love that name a lot! -She/her -Mythic Creature -Sweet -Defensive -Scarred From Childhood Experience Prologue Surrounded by the sleeping bodies of the others, Dusk sat up so she was stretched out in a laying position instead of her previous curled up position. Dusk was only a kit. Or so the others told her. She didn't like it when they told her what to be, so she stood up and quietly padded over to Bee. He was sleeping on his back with his wings spread out. Unlike Dusk's pinkish orange wings, Bee had yellow wings and a short yellow tail. Dusk prodded Bee's ribs, "Wake up, lets go to the cave." she whispered to him. Bee opened his eyes almost as if he'd never been asleep. "Really? Your insane, you must be....let's do it!" He whispered back, springing to his paws. Dusk smiled to him, she knew they shouldn't do it, go to the cave, for as long as Dusk could remember the two of them and the other kits had been told to never approach the cave, or die horrible deaths from a monster. Still, she wanted to see for herself. Spreading her wings, she shot into the air, Bee behind her. Chapter One Dusk put a flower to her old friend's favorite tree. Now that he was dead Dusk thought it only fit. "You killed the one who loved that tree, my mom told me." A little voice spoke to her. Dusk turned around to see a kit. Not just any kit, Orange's kit, Puddle. Dusk looked to her paws, "No, that's only something your mother would tell you. She hates me." The small kit looked back at her, his tiny blue wings, skinny long tail, and dark blue eyes, burned her with a gaze. "She told me you did though." "I'm wasn't a murder as a kit!" Dusk protested. "I did something reckless and got a friend killed, but I didn't kill him myself. He was your brother, so it makes sense she'd hate me now. Right?" She'd spilled her guts to a kit. How embarrassing. "Just don't go to the cave, you'll die like Bee did." She spat. Puddle walked up to Dusk. so that she had to turn her neck down to look him in the eyes. "His name was Bee?" Dusk nodded. "Mother won't tell me anything about him....Bee..." Puddle whispered. Dusk felt her face grow hot. If Orange hadn't told Puddle his brother's name, then Dusk had done something unforgivable yet again. "Don't tell your mother I told you." Dusk told the kit. Puddle only nodded then whipped around, "Crystal!" Crystal was Puddle's twin, she had purple wings and a stub for a tail, just like Bee had. Puddle was probably going to tell Crystal their brother's name. Dusk couldn't even repeat her earlier statement to not tell their mother, and even if Puddle kept his promise, no telling if Crystal would. Dusk felt her heart drop. If only she could have saved Bee. Dusk herself didn't even remember what had been in the cave. She only remembered Bee bleeding in front of her, screaming, screaming for her help, but she was too far away from him. Then she saw a shadow take him. She also remembered being attacked herself too, but Vine had heard her owns screaming and entered the cave, too late to save Bee, but when he entered the cave, whatever had attacked Dusk, disappeared. As if it had never been there. Dusk had found herself at the entrance of the cave instead of deep in it's depths where she'd been struggling under the claws of whatever was in the cave. She remembered going home with Vine and that was all. Would Dusk ever piece together everything that happened though? | To be continued . . . | I hope you enjoyed! If I win this cute little creature I would draw her a lot, and maybe make an animation. :D I would DEFINITELY continue the story, because I'm proud of it.
