1996 Ferrari 550 Maranello The 550 Maranello was built as a replacement for the F512M, so it had big shoes to fill. Plus, it was front-engined, an unusual sight for new supercars of the 90's. Designed by Pininfarina, the 550 featured curvy lines and glass-covered headlights. Under the hood, Ferrari installed a 5.5 liter naturally aspirated V12 engine paired to a six-speed gated manual transmission.
