NOTE: Scroll down to see the new BINDER SAFETY SECTION >:D Heyyy taters! Today I'm going to be giving you tips on how to pass as male. I'm FTM transgender, which means I was assigned female at birth but I'm actually a guy. As someone is a female's body (who's not out of the closet yet), it's extremely hard to pass as male. This tutorial is designed to help you learn how to pass as a boy, so I hope it helps! Let me know if you have any other tips on passing in the comments ^^ And to all the trans peeps out there who keep getting misgendered, hang in there. I know it's hard getting misgendered, but it'll get better. Trust me. :) EXTRA TIPS: "Something to add, it also helps to put your feet a little bit farther apart when you walk, since females walk with their feet closer together almost like on a tightrope (not really sure how to word this lol) and also, to spread your legs apart when you sit. Males tend to take up more space, and females tend to take up less." -@Nerdy_Cat314 "Be careful with your use of hand gestures. Most guys (in my experience) talk with fewer hand gestures and more varied vocal tones." -@Emberfangs "Also, patterned clothes like floral prints help hide the chest." -@EnbyStuff BINDER SAFETY: Sorry about all the caps, I wanted to make sure you saw this. I've been getting a lot of comments about binder safety, so I thought I'd add it to the description :D 1. Please be careful while using a binder. Make sure you know how to use it before actually doing anything. -@smartin_tcspa 2. Don't exercise in a binder. Walking and stuff is okay, but not soccer and things like that. -@Quatzqueen 3. It's better to buy an actual binder, measure yourself, and use it safely than to diy it. 4. Don't use Ace Bandages and whatnot as makeshift binders! I know it sucks to not be able to buy a binder (if you're not out to your parents yet), but trust me, your safety is much more important.
