⚠ TW / death . strong emotions ･･･ Hey there Ashlyn! I was still using my @MooniiCat account (now deleted) when I first met you. Your art was so magnificent and it caught my attention right away. We started talking and at some point you hosted a map and said you needed someone to help you. So I volunteered not actually thinking that I would get accepted. To my surprise, when I checked my messages I was! I was so delighted and honoured to be able to help out! Eventually you followed me and the feeling of being one of the few people that you followed made me feel so special. Soon we became friends. Or at least that's what I believed. I enjoyed chatting with you and just looking at your art and designs improve. But it was a bit of a shocking news when you announced that you had cancer. I willed myself to believe that you would make it through. That you were strong. I then started slowly becoming more and more inactive but still checking on now and then. Soon I stopped checking. But I regret having left. I clicked on you profile to check only to find a bunch of comments that confused me at first. Scrolling through the comments quickly, I landed on one that confirmed what I had feared. I was horrified and even felt guilty for not having been there earlier. I just want you to know that I didn't forget about you. I didn't stop worrying about you either. I'm so sorry. You've made a huge impact to many people's lives including mine. You've left a mark. You're not going to be forgotten anytime soon. It's been an honour being friends with you. May you be in a better place now. #FlyHighAshlyn I hope for the best to Ashlyn's family and friends
