They build interest, and are tbh really funni to write. BUT they also suck. They get repetitive, create tension between fans and just make meh sad :< - SO I have this issue with rooting for the character that doesn't get the girl (coz let's be honest, it's always two boys one girl. or usually XD) and by the time they're rejected, i relate to them too much it causes me p a i n - there are two dynamics in love triangles { dynamic 1 } a likes c, and so does b. c is painfully aware of their crushes, and is really sad about choosing. c chooses b. b is like "helk yeah i knew it" a gets rejected and 60% of the fandom cries. { dynamic 2 } a likes c. b also likes c, but is a's bestie, so they pretend to not like a to save the friendship. c chooses a. a is a jerk. c is miserable. the fandom cries. c cries. b comforts them, and tries to get a to see sense. b is now depressed because self-sabatoge 80% of the fandom either starts making angst fan-art/fanfics, or sending death threats. c is oblivious to how b feels. b is keefe, and i am actually just talkin about keeper of the lost cities. although maybe this applies to more than just kotlc idk. - IN BOTH OF THE DYNAMICS, SOMEONE ENDS UP SAD ALONE AND ANGSTY CRIE - anyways here are my alliances in the ship world + kataang - tentatively (aang is meh but there isn't enough zutara stuf to convince me) + rayllum - wholeheartedly minus 1 (not enough drama lmao) + sokeefe - yes and no (would be 100% but keefe needs therapy first sooo- im sorta so-single idk) + so-single - a lil bit (see above. keefe just needs time lmao.) + crystox (shadow is a non-male dog. pls stay mature in the comments, and civil. non-male dog is an irl fren's replacement swear word that i just stole.
