Here are poems by me and my friend! They might not make sense, but each one means something- All of this was a collab and was written by me and my lovely and very talented friend, @-Butterfliies-! We might read these together using our voices in an upcoming project, who knows? 1. The End After All - Throughout each dark street, A heart alone may silently beat But what is the point of hoping, When you nor I can handle coping And if all sorrow and tears draw near I will hold you close, my dear Because together, we will never fall Even in the end, after all - 2. Strings Of My Heart - A violin's melody may ring out, But I will be playing by you without doubt Music creates such sweet songs So grab my hand and run along Above the treetops and over streams Spending my life like this is my one dream So I hold my bow And I pluck each string And we play on, Forever hearing the melodies of our hearts ring - 3. Green Eyes (This is a 2 part poem, this one was entirely written by @-Butterfliies-. We wanted to write about each other's eyes, so this is her describing mine <3) - Like an emerald, shining in the sun Your eyes resemble sorrow; yet fun They're brighter than the darkest leaves, If one underestimated them, they'd be deceived By the years and stories they told For when you talk, they seem to unfold And reveal the essence of your wonderful soul Throughout each hour, I form an ally With Raine's piercingly soft green eyes - 4. Blue Eyes (This is the other part to the Green Eyes poem, though it's written by me and dedicated to her eyes) - Like a sea on a quite summer day Your eyes are so magical, they whisk me away To a world full of nothing but peace All bad things and hatred starts to cease It takes my breath every time For there is no obstacle we couldn't climb There is nothing more beautiful, I now realize Then your calm, quiet, and lovely blue eyes. - 5. Rainbow Sunrise (This one is all me ;) ) - When I look up into the sky I am instantly calmed and filled with pride For when I'm with you, the world is a better place Petals of blossoms fall on our face The golden sun radiates and shines As I hold your hand and watch the rainbow sunrise - 6. Broken Love (This one is all by @-Butterfliies-!) - The thing that hurts the most Is when the one person you love treats you like a ghost Not a thought crosses their mind But they're on yours all the time You wish you could hold their hand, And tell them how you feel, But you know the dream isn't real. So with each passing day Your heart aches more To be with the one you can only long for - 7. A Symbol Of Hope - When the day breaks and all arises The future isn't set; it's full of surprises From here to there, from far to near We shall venture on without a fear Lost in our dreams and thoughts We focused on what we are, instead of what we're not On the darkest nights and through the coldest storms We put our hands together and saw what they formed It was a symbol of hope, in the shape of a heart Which proved even far away, we will never be apart - I know there isn't that many, but we're writing more!
