Ooh look, I read another book and now I'm here to talk about it to people I've never met in my life. XD Remix with a different photo and review. Back to the book! i borrowed it, actually (signed by the author). It may not seem like THE BEST BOOK you've read in your life at first, but seriously, it's good. Trust me. And it made me cry, bonus. I dare you to find any other piece of media that will do that. Okay, to convince you, I'll give you a sentence excerpt. 'When I woke up, my desk was in flames and there was a demon in my bedroom.' There, that ought to do it. So, now the summary. (no spoilers) Kiki Kallira Breaks A Kingdom is about a girl called Kritika. Kiki is from India, but she lives in London. The photo quality is awful, so I'll tell you that thing she's holding in her hand. It's a pencil. Yes, really. So now, imagine you draw a fictional universe and then suddenly it comes to life and you get to visit it. That's basically what happens. Now, go back to the sentence extract. "When I woke up....., etcetera." Yes, she was asleep. Yes, she was wearing pajamas. Here I will pause and let you wonder why every single Indian tween who lives abroad has this thing about questing in pajamas. RAINBOW UNICORN PAJAMAS. **** World building? Amazing characters? Great description? Check, check, and check. This book isn't perfect (yeesh, what is?) but it most definitely deserves to be better known. (And there may be kid heroes who are not all too happy about their life. But no spoilers, as I said. GO READ THE BOOK. -Ezelynn_Sky
