Drought Chapter 1 ____________________________________________ "Ugh! I'm so hungry!" Drought said, as he rested on a newspaper in the city. He sees a trash can with something in it. "Ooo!" He said as he went to go see what was in the trash can to eat. "Eww! But that's all I have to eat. Ugh." When he was just about to eat the gross thing a human came out of a building! "Hey, get out that you cat!" Drought ran away and thought "People are so mean." When he herded a voice that said "hey!" He turned to see who was trying to get his attention. "What?" he said confused, he couldn't make out what he was seeing . "Come." the voice called. Drought followed as he said "um... okay?" when he went to the voice they was in a tent like place but there was nothing closing it so anyone could just walk in, anyway the voice was a dog, a brown color with a beige underbelly and paws. "Here." the dog said as it gave Drought a rat. "A rat! For me? Thanks!" Drought ate the rat thankfully. "Mushroom." the dog said "What?" Drought asked. "My name is Mushroom." The dog (Mushroom) said. 'Oh! I'm Drought!" "Well drought you have a big life ahead of ya!" Mushroom said joyful. "oh, I guess I do. You got friends?" Mushroom stopped for a sec and said "I did, I had two Drizzle and Ero, we ran and played all day. Ha-ha, It was back in the good O' days." What happened to them?" Drought asked. Mushroom started to get emotional. "Aw, don't cry. please don't." Then Drought started to think about what his mother had said to him "If I am not back at night go back to where we stay!" Drought started to cry and ran away. "Drought come back!" Mushroom yelled. Then as Drought was running away he bumped into a cat, a grown cat it was a light grey cat with white sprites on its front and back legs. "Ugh!" The cat said. "Sorry!" Drought said. he really did sound sorry. "oh um, hi..." the cat said "Hi, I'm so sorry about that! I'm Drought." "I'm..... Boa." "Well I guess I should get going now..?" Drought said, "Wait! Don't go, please come with me I have a den." Boa said. "oh really you would do that, well I guess I could stay the night ." Drought said gratefully. "Good follow me." Drought followed Boa to her den. "It is getting late, you should go to bed." Boa said. "Okay!" Drought went to a part of the den where he could sleep. "Night um..... " "Drought!" Drought said. "Right, night Drought." "Night!" Later That night Boa went to where Drought was and hovered over him. "Ahhh! Boa what are you doing??" Drought asked confused. "Oh, I was just seeing if you were okay, I don't want anything bad to happen to you." Boa said nicely. "Oh okay. Good night and I'm okay!" Drought said as he closed has eyes to rest. Boa went out of the room and thought "Oh Drought just you wait." FIN
