Sorry about the obnoxious colors. And the timer blocking health bars. See notes and credits for speedrun route and see bottom of instructions for tips on movement for speedrunning. Make sure that you do your actual runs on the real game because this game has perfect RNG and nerfed jumps so runs will not be legit. This is solely for practice. If you have any optimizations to make the route faster, please tell me in the comments also if you want you can post your times here in the comments. Move with WAD Dash with K and L Press Space to Attack Press T to return to your last checkpoint Press J to heal if you have Abyssal Tears remaining Tips 1. CLICK on the options you want in menu screens. 2. READ the tips that appear on the side of your screen during levels. 3. When you find a Collapse Pool, ENTER IT to set your respawn point. 4. Enemies do NOT deal contact damage UNLESS attacking. 5. If you talk with an NPC and want to skip their dialogue, press "S" again. (Input Looping Glitch) Are you doing something infinitely? (like healing infinitely or attacking infinitely without you pressing any buttons) This is NOT a problem with this game in particular. It exists on other scratch games and even off-scratch games like Hollow Knight. The issue is NOT the game. The issue is the computer. To SOLVE it, click on the game once and then PRESS the key being looped. Speedrunning: Speedrun starts when you press the start button and ends when before the credits roll. For this particular route that it will end the instant you press S to capture the abyss so after aurora is defeated make sure to spam left as quickly as possible and press S as soon as you can to capture the abyss and end the run. Tips for movement: For sprinting just spam it and when you run out keep spamming it. So the instant you see blue return in your stamina bar you should use it. Keep in mind only to spam the dashes when there are no obstacles if there are enemies you may need to time your dashes better to dodge them. Make sure you practice the platforming (Specifically the grass sections) So you don't lose time to messing those up. Enemy dodges: The main annoyance with this is the slimes. Keep in mind when they are on the ground they do not damage so a well timed dash through them can allow you to pass right through them with no damage. Otherwise dash under them well they are in the air. Thanks to 211A for This game it is really fun.
Timer on this game is slow do not rely on it. I have tweaked the code a little bit to guarantee Perfect rng on the bosses and I have nerfed the annoying grass jumps. This is to make this game good for practicing speedruns with my current route. I did some testing and with my current route 9:13.27 is a relatively optimal run. My record on the normal unnerfed game with normal RNG is 9:46.80 but I didn't get it on camera. Fastest recorded run is 10:09. The route: (Note: I use the tank class for this run) 1) Start: It is mainly just spam sprinting and skip ever enemy. There are a few platform skips in this section, but overall relatively simple hard to mess up. 2) Abyssal Angel: No matter what attack the angel does you can defeat the first phase in one cycle. As soon as the angel comes in reach spam as fast as you can to defeat it in one cycle. Second phase can be done normally no special strats. 3) Underground section: Go to the sanctuary of tears and make sure to set your spawn in the pool then talk to the old man skip his dialogue and put all your essence into strength. Next go down the elevator and go left into the underground area. This is relatively simple platforming. This area is somewhat mazelike so make sure you know the way to Korkad. With optimal movement and enemy dodges you should get there pretty fast. 4) Korkad fight: (Note this strat only works with optimal RNG which is guaranteed in this game, but not in the normal one) Stand on the right ledge and spam as fast as you can make sure you stand close enough that his fireball completely misses you so you don't have to waste time dodging it. When he flys away dodge his fire and his pound then stand on the left ledge as far left as you can and spam him. Tank his homing fireball you will survive then his other fireball should miss and you should defeat him here. (Note on the normal game if you get bad RNG it will cost you 15-20 Seconds.) As you are teleporting out of the area equip the dragon blade that you just unlocked for defeating him. When you get back to the sanctuary put all your essence into strength. 5) Grass area: This is the hardest segment in terms of platforming. For the sake of this project I have nerfed the two hardest jumps just so that I can focus on practicing boss fights and gaurantee myself perfect runs on this project. You will have to go elsewhere if you want to practice these two jumps they are the only hard jumps in the run so if you can do them well you will be pretty much gauranteed a perfect run. Other than that this section is easy make sure you don't set your spawn at the collapse pool unless you are really low and its absolutely necesary it will cost you time later though. Make your way to the rhacos fight with optimal movement. 6) Rhacos: This fight is free you should be able to defeat extremely quickly with your dragon blade. Keep in mind you have enough health to tank one hit or a hit from his double attack but you shouldn't need to. Just hit him as much as you can and he should go down very quickly. 7) Bright area: When you get back to the sanctuary use your essence to get your strength up to 13 then put the rest into skill next make your way up the tower. When you get to the angel knight miniboss you need good RNG which is gauranteed here you will lose a few second with bad RNG. If you get good RNG then simply walk up to the knight and spam attack him and tank his shot he should die pretty much instantly and you can continue on your way other than that all the platforming is free and the enemy dodges are not to difficult. 8) Dummkoff: Set your spawn in the collapse pool before the fight if you are not on full health. Spam attack him as much as you can while dodging all of his attacks. he should go down fast then once he respawns repeat the process if Lugner does lightning then dodge it and keep spamming if Lugner does projectile just tank it. When Lugner descends to revive Dummkof if you time your first shot correctly and spam you will be able to defeat Lugner in one cycle saving a lot of time. Then make your way to the left don't bother with the armor. Go to the collapse pool and return to the sanctuary. 9) Finale: Put all your essence into skill and go through the mirror to the final boss. For this fight you need extremely good RNG or it will cost you a lot of time. In this project that is guaranteed but in the real game it is relatively low odds of perfect RNG. When she charges toward you to strike with her sword jump over he swipe then hit her. When she does lightning (You want her to do lightning as much as possible this allows you to do a ton of damage fast) Dodge all here lightning bolts and strike here while the strike is hitting then stop spamming her in time to dodge the next strike and keep hitting her. If she charges into the wall stand near the wall she will charge into jump over her and hit her. Hopefully she will spam lightning attacks if she does you will defeat her in two cycles.
