Hello! Press space to advance slides. Please note that these ideas have been shared with the Scratch team, don't feel the need to further let them know of this project. :) Here are some ideas on the way I think the Scratch website could be improved. Which ideas would you like to see introduced to Scratch? Feel free to share your thoughts and ideas by leaving a comment or remixing if you like! If you are going to remix, there is a remix template that you can use, which hopefully makes it easy for you to incorporate your own ideas. If you choose to use the remix template, then make sure you don't delete or change any of the sprites unless you are told to do so in the instruction in the comments! :) Here are some further explanations of each idea: Idea 1: This option would allow you to better filter the messages you want to receive in your inbox. If, for example, you choose to receive invitations from the people you are following then when you click on messages you'd only see the invitations from the Scratchers you are following. There'd be a separate tab to see all studio invitations, regardless of which option you choose. Idea 2: This option could possibly only be enabled to more long-time Scratchers, for example, Scratchers who have been on the site for at least 1 year. This would reduce the chances of the feature being misused. Also, a separate messages tab could be created to test project invites. Idea 3 doesn't need further explaining. Idea 4: This row would only show up projects that are between 3 and 14 days old and that are in the love-it range of 10 to 40. This is so that only projects from less-know Scratchers show up. The love-it limit starts at 10 so that the chances that an inappropriate project is shown is reduced. I believe a similar row used to exist before called the "Surprise Row", it would be nice if it was re-introduced (with some changes). Currently, I feel like it's hard for less-known Scratchers to get more attention on their projects and a feature like the one I'm proposing would be useful for that reason. Idea 5: This is probably my favourite idea. With this feature, you'd be able to easily invite other Scratchers to work with you on a project. Once the project is shared, it would be shown who worked on the project under the title. When working on the project, you'd be able to save each iteration of the project as a safeguard in case something goes wrong. Also, if this idea was introduced, it would be nice to have a separate row on the font-page for collaboration projects. This idea would eliminate the need of having to create a shared account! As for the whereabouts of the projects you've collaborated once they are shared on your profile, well I was thinking it could be put in a separate row titled "Collaboration Projects", under "Shared Projects". Thanks a lot for reading! - Credit to , , for three of the thumbnails used in the random projects row. Credit to Instrumental Core (from Youtube) for the music. The song is called Free Run.
