I decided to make a story about how my character found the scroll. Read the whole short story to get it. Sorry, it's so long. Enjoy ----------------------------------------------------------------- Eclipse was halfway to the Sanctuary, it was in and out before anyone realised she was there. She was wanted by the animus hunters. Her father was brutally killed by the animus hunters when most dragons snapped. It had almost been a week since their library in the sanctuary had been set ambushed. Eclipse could still hear the cries of her father, yelling for them to fly away. "If only I had heard their thoughts sooner, or if I had a vision, then father would still be here." A tear welled in her eyes and rolled down her cheeks, past her sliver scale next to her eye, that marked the sign of a mind-reader. She was going back to retrieve what remains of their library. Any scrolls that were salvaged were to be kept. Especially if they were written by Shadowreader, her father. Eclipse reached the outskirts of Sanctuary, it was easy to navigate through the streets as they were empty. She flew past her friend's house. "Indigo would still be there" eclipse thought. She landed at Indigo's house and knocked. The door opened. It wasn't Indigo. "Who are you," Eclipse asked. A rainwing was at the door. "My name is Lilypad sweety, Are you looking for someone?" lilypad asked. "Yes, I'm looking for Indigo, she used to live here" eclipse said hurriedly. She could feel the monster stirring at the back of her mind, it was itching to take over. "Oh honey she lives at a library now, she runs it," Lilypad said. "A..a Library" Eclipse stuttered. "Yes, she took over Shadowreader's library" Eclipse gasped and turned around. "Thanks" she called as she flew away. Eclipse was shocked, "She took over the library, that means the animus hunters didn't destroy it." Eclipse found the library, it didn't look like anything had changed. A light could be seen inside. Eclipse growled the monster tried to take over, but she pushed it back. She landed outside and opened the door. A bell rang as she opened it, and she gasped. The shop looked identical on the inside too. The shelves were neatly stacked with scrolls upon scrolls. A dragon walked out of the back room. "Welcome to the Shadowreader library, how may I.." she gasped. "Eclipse" indigo yelled. The Silkwing bounded towards her, pulling her into a hug. "I thought you, you" Indigo stuttered and coughed. "I managed to get out, with my family," Eclipse said, tears streaming down her face as she embraced her friend. "How is the library still here?" Eclipse wondered. "The animus hunters set it ablaze but I was outside, I put the fire out before it could do anything. I have cleaned it up and re-opened it, now I run it" Indigo said. "Oh, I have something for you. Indigo walked over to the main desk and pulled out a safe. She concentrated, a few strands of Flamesilk cut through the safe. A bag sat inside the safe. she handed it to Eclipse. Inside sat all her favourite scrolls, and ones written by her father. "Thank you Indigo," Eclipse said. "Go take them now before anyone sees you" indigo ushered her out of the library. "If you need me just send me a message, Eclipse always know that even if you are out of control I will side with you." Eclipse felt warmed by what her friend said. Eclipse opened her wings and flew into the night. Eclipse saw a fire down below. She arched her wings down and landed softly below. "I enchant this necklace to hide its wearer". Eclipse looked at her hands they weren't there. "Did you hear something?" a voice said. "It could be an animus". "Oh NO" Eclipse thought. "Animus hunters". She arched her neck to see where they were. The hunters were nearer now, getting closer with every second. Eclipse couldn't take it anymore, the monster took over, She roared and ran through the forest. Eclipse took flight and flew on till morning. Eclipse awoke in a clearing of a forest, she gasped "nononono" she scrambled around trying to find the bag Indigo gave her that night. She sighed with relief it sat over on a log. She opened the bag a tipped its contents onto the ground. It was the animus touched bag Eclipse gave Indigo. It could hold more than it looks and not weigh anything. She sorted through the scrolls looking at them all. "Huh?" Eclipse picked up a scroll wound up tight with ribbon. "I don't recognise this one," she said to nobody. She opened it and began to read. Once she finished a grin began to form on her face. "I will avenge you, Father," she said. Eclipse placed a talon on the name Mist. "I pledge"
