Space for Next Piece! Info on each of the pieces in the notes. (I know they are long, kudos to the person who reads them all)
1. Earth Day Art Piece! Our school was hosting an Earth Day Art competition, and I entered. I wasn't lucky enough to win, but I am really glad with how the piece turned out! 2. First drawing in my sketchbook Snow leopards are my FAVORITE animal - no exceptions so I thought it'd be a good piece to be the first page! And yes, I did use a ref... ☆WOF Entries!!!☆ 3. Jaguar- Rainwing Backstory: In my story (yes I wrote fanfic like last YEAR stop judging) she's the only NOT lazy Rainwing *cringe*, and she got banned for disturbing the peace heh. Art Note: BUT I had some good art. 4. Topaz- Skywing Backstory: Topaz tried to rebel against the monarchy, and got banned for that ig... Art Note: Sorry for the blurry pictures 5. Art Note: The scars were rough and I got the yellows wrong but the expression is perfect! lol 9. Aquamarine- Manywing (heh lol) Backstory: Manywings were a tribe of all the half-breeds, and... well... she got the rough end of the genetics. No tribe wanted her. (omg it's so cringy) Art Note: You prolly can't tell but the color scheme was frickin GORGEOUS with all the blues and purples! ☆End of WOF drawings☆ 10. My version of the Tous Les Memes MAP Thumbnail. Uh... bit of an old art style, but it is cool! I really like that MAP, actually! ✿Fine Arts Center Entries✿ I got admitted into a Fine Art Center day, which was super fun, but they had a portfolio critique, and these are the pieces I entered. I also have my art statements to make me sound smart lol. 11. Babysitting Troubles "Artist's Statements"-This is a piece that I created as an insight into what exactly my experience is with babysitting. This piece was largely inspired by one day full of babysitting my siblings, even though I normally love being the babysitter-and still do! The contrast of colors between each character in the piece is my way of showing the different personality types of each of my siblings, along with the mood each character is shown experiencing, which highlights the struggles for me. I chose this piece because I was very proud of the emotions and contrasts between each character, and how much personality I was able to put into this piece, especially with it being based off of a real story. 12. Inner Thoughts "Artist's Statement"-This piece was inspired by the comparison of what you say and what you think. Sometimes, saying the opposite of what you are really thinking or feeling can be a way to save someone else's feelings – or your pride. I chose this piece because I was proud of my attention to detail, both in the cat and the dragon. Dragons are forever the one drawing I spend the most time on, looking for another way to make them more detailed. It was also an experiment with creating details without lines, and I think it turned out well. 13. A (Not So) Average Morning "Artist's Statement" - This piece was not my best work, but I was proud of the concept. It was one of my few fully digital pieces, and I wanted to incorporate the idea that you do not need a ton of words to tell a story. I liked the digital translation of this piece because it made it look smoother and more streamlined, making it easier to focus on all the parts of the story, instead of just one. I was inspired by the truth of my brothers waking me up on weekends, and especially that it always feels like it was meticulously planned. I am not great at digital art, so it was a struggle figuring out the program and all, but I think it ended up well! Why'd I spend so much time on this no one looks at this lol
