Props to my precious index finger for being a great stylus to draw art with :3 Anyways - VIOLA! Here it is~ the Erosie (and Alyelle) Fan Artwork I was supposed to draw last month but got delayed to the horrendous event called "exams" To Alyelle (@Berricake) - honestly, I've actually been a huge fan of your work since 2020. And my vector art style (which you can see in my animations) was highly inspired from your art style (specifically from your Townie Quiz project hehe-) AND You were the reason I start Digital Art on Raster programs too! I've actually seen you use Erosie often in your artwork and projects - but only recently did I get to know about her name and the role she plays in the Laticon Lore (which I'm very curious to know more about! OwO Spill the lore please >:D) I've always liked her design and the boss vibes she radiates (this coming from someone who's persona OC is called Banana Boss lol-) While the main focus of this artwork is Erosie, you can see Alyelle in the background too (side profile heheh -) Similar to Erosie - I've always been interested about Alyelle's past and how she came to work at Organized Justice, so I couldn't resist drawing her too lol (I wanted to draw Erasmus too >;D) The reason titled this as "Bad Blood" was because I also tried to depict the Alyelle vs Erosie conflict of the Laticon lore which you mentioned in your Zodiac Compatibility animation. It is partially portrayed through the lighting. Alyelle is lit from above while Erosie is lit from below. This difference shows the conflict and opposition between them. I didn't intentionally make the artwork greyscale - it was more like a "going with the flow" thing. But I think it captures the personalities of the characters much better since there aren't any colours to distract the viewer. It also gives the artwork a sinister vibe. And I also tried a rather different paint style here by adding depth through strokes and strokes only - no blending. The sketch with base colours - which you can see on the 2nd slide - was done on Ibis Paint X back in March. But I later uninstalled the program since my exams were nearing and I found drawing a bit distracting (besides - I didn't like the program much). But later - due to an art request made by a acquaintance of mine - I downloaded Autodesk Sketchbook into my phone. After my exams were done - I imported the sketch into Autodesk sketchbook and did the rest of the colouring there. I didn't restrict myself much for this art piece and really went with whatever came into my mind at that moment. And honestly - I'm proud of how it turned out! I hope you like this fan art Alyelle! ^^ You are a great inspiration to me and it only feels right to repay you for that with this <3 I really admire how you organized Draw For a Cause (I might join it someday ;D) and put your amazing skills to good use. Your leadership is phenomenal! Please keep creating awesome animations, games and artwork!
