This is a (somewhat) realistic trampoline, as most games have a trampoline as a spring-loaded device that launches you into the air as soon as you step on it, but this trampoline need velocity for you to keep jumping higher. This could change gameplay by a significant margin, as you would need a little bit of time on the trampoline instead of it just launching you upwards.
