Mum? Mum? Mum?” It was early in the morning, and little Estelle was trying to wake up her mum, Jenny. “MOTHER!?!?” At the sound of her cub shouting, Jenny’s eyes opened gradually. “Yes Estelle?” “Good, you’re awake. Can I go outside??” She just eye rolled, “It’s 5am…” But Estelle wouldn’t take no for an answer. “Pleeeeeeeeaaaaaassseee???” She begged, her green eyes glowing as brightly as fresh spring grass. “Okay, okay!” Jenny gave in. After all, who could resist such a cute kitten? “Just don’t go far.” “Yay! Thanks!” She shouted, dashing off into the woods. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ A sharp twig snapping noise shot from near Estelle. “Who’s there?” She asked, as she looked around cautiously. Then, she noticed a broken twig beside her paw “Oh,” she laughed, “It was just me!” Suddenly, a quiet rustling noise came from a nearby bush. “For real this time, who’s there?” A darkened face with glowing eyes appeared, blood dripping from its fangs. “Your worst nightmare!”
