Click on the instruments if you see them before time runs out. If you can't find the instrument before you go to the next room, it will stay there. Do NOT click on the instrument if it looks to visible. I know there is a way to make it disappear if you don't click it, but I'm not that advanced yet. Sorry! Good luck.
