His father was from Tideclan and his mother was from Meadowclan, when him and his two siblings were born they left to the barn in-between territories on the border and that was where they were raised. One day the two clans found out and attacked the barn, killing the two siblings and parents but Reed barely survived. Reed became the loner leader and raised a kit named Coal on his own.
