Hi. People are using LETTERS from Languages as symbols. I don't like it. They are mocking the Language. Please this HAS to stop. NOW. How would they feel if I used J as a hockey stick? Or D as a Taco? That's exactly how we feel. Here are some: 1. ඞ - Sinhala Letter used as Among Us 2. ண - Tamil Letter - border or smth 3. ൠ - Malayalam Letter 4. ஓ - Tamil Letter 5. ஐ - Tamil Letter - Butterfly 6. இ - Tamil Letter 7. ௫ - Tamil Letter 8. あ - Japanese Letter 9. ツ - Japanese Letter - shrug emoji 10. ਏ and ਓ - Punjabi Letters - butterfly 11. ღ - Georgian Letter - heart thing 12. ٩ - Arabic Letter 13. ۶ - Arabic Letter 14. ت - Arabic Letter - Smiley The list goes on. These are only a few. Just because they look pretty or aesthetic doesn't mean you use them as what ever you like. It's not a joke. Before using ANY symbol PLEASE just paste it in google and check. Please. This has to stop. And I'm really offended by this use of letters. So please stop this. Please. -Melody Notes from others: @creum - yeah, i find it annoying too. they're acting like these languages dont exist and turn the letters into symbols.... @starwarsdudett - I absolutely agree! Once I’m done making a few projects, I’ll get right to work! I’ll make a project addressing the problem. @bodi3 - As one who can read Sinhala and Tamil, I feel offended when I see letters from those languages - which are very beautiful & expressive - used as emoticons. But I understand why - to those who don't know those languages, the letters look like objects. And English letters are used as emoticons too (example - UwU) So, I don't strongly condemn the use of such letters as emoticons. BUT! I prefer that everyone knew those letters belong to a particular language before they became "emoticons" @The_Coding_apple - I kinda feel bad when Sinhala alphabet is used as a among us emoji >:( Thank you all! - Melody
